What do I see Poem

What do I see? I see a Pastel pink sunset  slowly falling over the horizon, like bright red lava flowing down a cliff.

What do I see? I see clusters of white birds covering the ground like a giant blanket.

What do I see? I see an ocean shimmering as if it was a trillion diamonds. 

What do I see? I see blue fish shining as they launch themselves through the thick green piles of seaweed.

What do I see? I see islands in the distance so far away that you can only see the volcano shapes

What do I see? I see a sky filled with clouds as if it was white cotton candy.

My Lockdown poem 😃

Lockdown has made New Zealand's streets turn quiet.

Lockdown has made lines out of shops starting riots.

Lockdown has made schools close.

Lockdown is boring everyone knows.

Reading week 6 term 2

The lockdown is usual enough

The lockdown was usual enough.
 It had ghost town like streets, long line of people panicing at the super market and to many germs. 

My sister, my parents and I, did what most familes do, binge watch Netflix, bake treats, go for long walks to the park, sleep in, arts and crafts and stay up until late.

My lockdown reflection

In lockdown it was strange,
I felt scared of what might happen soon and what was going on in the world.
I learnt that I have to be more positive about myself and enjoy the time I have to practise my hobbies.
Being at home was relaxing (mostly) I enjoyed reading, talking to everyone in my bubble, and cooking yum meals, insteed of takeaways that everyone has to much of.
I noticed we are being more active like going on walks and bike rides, since we aren't busy with work and school.
I learnt that my mum was an essential worker, so we couldn't see her all the time, this made me nervous thinking that she wasen't safe. I learnt that we have to value this family time, as it is very special and we should treasure it.
I relised that there are so many native birds in New Zealand such as Tui's and Fantails around us, singing and chirping down at the people passing by.
Being in lockdown made me notice how amazing NZ is, the love and support towards everyone, especially all the essential workers.
I learnt that we have to trust people to keep us safe, even though it's hard. 
I know that Covid-19 it's still out there but NZ has done great to survive this pandemic.

Day 22 Movies

Day 22 of online learning we learnt about movies. I enjoyed writing my review about Marvel end game, and making the frozen poster.

Day 21 Dinosaurs

Day 21 of online learing we learnt about DINOSAURS.I enjoyed making my dinosaur and answering the questions.

Day 20 Myths and legends

Day 20 of online learning we learnt about Myths and legends. I enjoyed Writing my story about my hero and the beast. I also liked creating my beast.

Day 19 Natural Disasters

Today we learnt about Natural Disasters. I enjoyed learning about Tsunami's and making my vehicle.

Day 18 Around the world

Day 18 of online learning we learnt about around the world. I really enjoyed finding out were my ancestors were from and I also liked learning about Brazil.

Day 17 Science

Day 17 of online learning we learnt about science. I enjoyed trying to make my egg float, and writing my story about what I saw in the firtual reality.

Day 16 Sports LCS

Today we learnt about sports. I really enjoyed creating a logo and the uniform, I also liked doing the maths thinkboard

Day 15 Floating and sinking

Day 15 of online learning we learnt about floating and sinking. I enjoyed learning about why ships float and coins sink and the maths thinkboard. My favourite part of all was making and testing the tinfoil boats.

Day 14 Food

For day 14 of online learning we learnt about FOOD. I really enjoyed today's task. My favourites things I did was making and eating the pizza and creating my family food truck.
