Day 8 of online learning we learnt about ANZAC day and soldiers in the war. I really enjoyed learning about this topic. I liked writing a diary entry like I was a soldier in the war. I also enjoyed baking the anzac biscuits and creating a poppy.
Hi Abby Your diary entries are excellent. You really capture what it would of been like as a solider back in Gallipoli. I love how you had a series of diary entries over a number of days it really helped create an image in the readers head. You also added in lots of rich language such as disembarked and dreadful which added great impact for the reader. Your ANZAC biscuits look delicious, thank you sharing your reflection about how yummy they were.
